The Galva Recreation is hosting the 10th annual Firecracker 5K Run/Walk in order to raise funds to assist Canton-Galva youth activities.

Registrations begins at 6:30 am and race start time is at 7:30 am. The race begins at Lynn Baldwin Memorial Park.

The 5k run/walk will be on concrete and paved roads in the city limits of Galva, KS.  This family-friendly run/walk course is fast, flat, stroller friendly and suitable for all ages.

Awards will be given to the top male and female finisher, as well as the top male and female finisher in each age division. 

Age divisions: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-25,  26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 55-65, 65 & up

Register by June 21st to be guaranteed a shirt with your registration!

All ages will enjoy our NEW Smallville 5K & Super Hero 1-mile fun run/walk as a part of the Third Thursday Smallville Festival on June 20th.

Enjoy this twilight run in the heart of Downtown Hutchinson, where participants will run loops with a crowd cheering them on. The Super Hero 1-mile fun run/walk starts at 8 p.m. and will include one, 1-mile loop. This fun event is open to all ages and levels and we encourage participants to wear their favorite super hero costumes!

The Smallville 5K starts at 8:30 p.m. and will include three, 1-mile loops.

Celebrate our town with a FUN and festive twilight race! All participants will receive race shirts and finisher’s medals.

The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Wichita features a 5K run/walk, 1 mile walk, Kids' Superhero Dash for Dad, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Stick around for the family-friendly post-race celebration. Participants will receive tech shirts, free food, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer.

ZERO is proud to partner with The Wichita Urology Group to end prostate cancer. The funds raised from ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Wichita are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer.

Homeless veterans road home! Come join us in a 5k run or 1 mile fun run/walk, that will help the ones that have made our freedom and independence possible. The route will take place in the center of our city and the 5k will cross right by our Veterans Memorial Park

Passageways Living Center is designed to help our veterans with a hand up, not a hand out.  We provide a warm and safe environment for them to live and accomplish their goals.  We provide a road map through the maze of VA programs and give them the time they need to work through the system without having to worry about where they were going to sleep or being hungry.  Many of our current heroes have spent months living on the street; unable to get into the programs that would benefit them because they didn’t have the resources they needed.

How can we possibly expect our veterans to return home after fighting for our freedoms only to continue the fight for basic necessities like food and shelter? While the programs available to them are wonderful, it takes time and a lot of work to complete.  When they return without a support system of friends or family, they have no one to help them navigate through the maze.

In our world today, there are Veterans who went away to countries to fight for our freedom only to come home and continue the fight.  They fight for a place in society; an identity; a place to call home.  No Veteran should ever have to continue their fight after returning to their home soil.

The best water 5K & family fun run in Hutchinson! This race is a great way for families to be active together and start off your summer with some wet & wild fun. Run through parts of the zoo and beautiful Carey Park, and as a photo finish, take you turn at sliding through our water-slide!

You won't want to miss our local mascot race right before the Fun Run. See your favorite local mascots duel it out to see who is the fastest!

Join us this Memorial Day for a family-friendly event that supports Family Promise of Lawrence, a nonprofit serving local families experiencing homelessness. This is a fast, certified course. First-time racers, joggers, walkers, strollers and dogs on leash are welcome. Medals will be awarded to age group finishers as well as overall and master's winners. Register by May 1 for $25/person; $30/person after May 1. Teams of four or more receive $5 discount/person. Music, free bounce houses and other children's activities on-site.

Annual fundraiser for Victory in the Valley.

Victory in the Valley, Inc. is a non-profit cancer support organization whose mission is "to assist and encourage cancer patients and families on their journey by offering HOPE through emotional and spiritual support, while providing practical services to improve the quality of their lives.” All proceeds will directly benefit cancer patients throughout Kansas. We do not receive funding from and are NOT affiliated with any other cancer organization. Thank you for your support of this event as we continue serving cancer patients for over 32 years.

The race course will be along McLean Blvd, and event activities will be held on the Hyatt Lawn, north of the Wichita Boathouse.

MGCO Backs the Blue 5K & Community Day is an event which celebrates officers who put their lives on the line daily to keep our communities safe and to honor those who have fallen in the line of duty. While officers give to the community on a daily basis, it is now our time to come out and celebrate and honor them!

The Prairie Fire Spring Half Marathon, 5K and Family 5K will start at 455 S. Wichita Street, Wichita, KS 67202.

Prices include race fees, special commemorative shirt and medal.

The Rainbows Run benefits children with special needs, ages birth – 21, and their families in Butler County. Join in the fun for the seventh annual 5K and 1-mile walk. The officially timed 5K race is open to both competitive and non-competitive participants and the 1-mile course is for the whole family.
