The Living Incredible Race is a series of 3 races: 1 mile fun run, 5k wheelchair & hand-cycling event and 5k open run (with separate medaling categories for amputees) which will be located at Shryock Park (A.K.A the Castle Park) in Augusta, KS. The race begins by the water park, will loop around the baseball fields and return back to Shryock Park.

Wichita Adaptive sports non-profit has been operating for 1 ½ years. 2018 was our first year to host track and field and we had 42 athletes participate. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover athlete equipment so many youth do not have the equipment needed in order to fully participate as they lack running prosthesis and proper wheelchairs. This event is designed to raise money to provide racing chairs and running prosthesis for those who desire to be active. During the awards ceremony there will be a recipient who will receive a running prosthesis or racing chair.
