Tulsa Area Triathletes is excited for 2025's Tulsa Triathlon! Join us on at Twin Cove Point at Birch Lake in Barnsdall, OK. This is a beautiful location for swimming, cycling and running.  ALL RACES ON SUNDAY!! The schedule of events will be Individual Sprint, Relay Team Sprint, Individual Olympic, Relay Team Olympic, Aquabike and NEW this year Swim Only option..

This is a great local race for newbies and the experienced! If you are wanting to test the waters of triathlons join us for the Sprint! Or maybe you are thinking about a little longer and try  the Olympic. We heard many of you wanted a swim only options so this year we are offering a swim option only for you water lovers!!

You can also create a Relay Team!! Share the fun with 2-3 people on race day! This is a great way to see what triathlons are all about and let you do your favorite part of the tri!

We will have a Safety Swim Wave for the Sprint Tri Sunday. Participants can opt into when registering. This wave is for anyone who feels uncomfortable with the swim portion of the race and wants to start at the back of the waves with a SaferSwimmer buoy. Safety Swim Wave participants will be taken out of Age Group Awards.

USAT Wetsuit Rules
USAT rules state that competitors may wear wetsuits if the water temperature is 78 degrees or lower. 
USAT rules also state that if the water temperature is between 78.1 – 83.9 degrees, competitors may wear wetsuits but will not be eligible for awards or USAT ranking points.
USAT rules also state that if the water temperature is 84 degrees or higher, wetsuits may not be worn.

  • Thursday June 19th 10am - 7:30pm and Friday June 20th 10am - 5pm and Saturday June 21st 10am - 3pm at RunnersWorld Tulsa 3920 S Peoria  
    YOU MUST BRING YOUR PHOTO ID. ONLY THE RACER CAN PICK UP PACKET. That means only you.
  • All Relay Team members must pick up their own packet.
  • If you live more than 30 miles outside Tulsa you can pick up race morning, please email barbara@runnersworldtulsa.com.
    If you already emailed you are good. You will still need photo id and can pick up at 6am by transition.

The 2025 Spring Fever Triathlon is a great race for beginner triathletes as well as experienced racers. Many local and regional athletes began their triathlon “careers” at this event. The Spring Fever Sprint Triathlon is held at the Jenks Aquatic Center featuring an indoor Olympic sized pool located in Jenks, Oklahoma. The bike and run segments include a tour of beautiful Green Country just south of Tulsa.

Events and Requirements:

  • Sprint Triathlon: 400 yard snake swim, 12 mile road bike, 2 mile road run
  • Team Relay Sprint Triathlon: 2-3 person team
  • Minimum age: 13
  • USAT annual or one-day membership required

Tulsa Area Triathletes is excited for 2025's Chris Brown Tulsa Duathlon! Join us on Sunday April 6th, 2025 at Mohawk Park in Tulsa, OK. The Chris Brown Duathlon is a great introduction to multi-sport events for beginners. It is also a challenging opportunity for experienced and competitive athletes. The Chris Brown Duathlon includes a 5km road run, 25km road bike, and another 5km road run. The event is held at Mohawk Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The run course is fast and flat on a closed paved road within Mohawk Park. The bike course is relatively flat with only a few rolling hills along the city streets of Tulsa.

  • Adult Duathlon and Relay

    • 5k run - 25k bike - 5k run

Course Limit: You must be off the bike and on the 2nd run by 10:10am or you will not be allowed to start the 2nd run

NEW THIS YEAR!! KID'S DUATHLON!!
We are excited to offer a Kid's Duathlon. The Kid's DU will happen after the Adult DU finishes. The Kid's Duathlon will be completed on the road trails inside the park that does not have any public traffic. These roads are closed to cars and are VERY FLAT!  It will be a timed event, all finishers receive a finisher medal and the Top 3 Overall Male and Female will receive an overall award.

  • Ages 6-8 years old (as of 12/31/25)

    • 1/2 mile run - 1 mile bike ride - 1/2 mile run

  • Ages 9-12 years old (as of 12/31/25)

    • 1 mile run - 2 mile bike ride - 1 mile run

All participants must  wear a helmet at all times on their bike, have working brakes and bar end caps. 
Distances by age.  USA Triathlon rules state that age is determined by the the participants age as of December 31st of the race year, so, he/she may be in an older age group than the age he/she is on race day.
Participants must hold a current USA Triathlon membership on day of event.  Annual USAT youth memberships can be purchased for $10 through race registration, this is required for sanctioning purposes and the event insurance.

Transition will open at 11:05am and Ages 6-8 will race at 11:35am and Ages 9-12 will begin after the Ages 5-8 finish. The kids race will be timed

Lake Olathe Triathlon

Come experience the 6th annual Sprint Triathlon race at beautiful Lake Olathe!  This is a course athletes will love to hate and you will question the notion that Kansas is flat!  Beautiful scenery surrounds event, but does contain some challenging hills!  Are you up for it?  Come join us on September 21st!

Early Bird registration is open now until 9/2. On 9/3, registration for the Triathlon will increase by $20. Final deadline to register for the Lake Olathe Triathlon is Tuesday, September 17th by 11:59pm or if the race hits the event capacity.

Registration is non-refundable. If you are unable to compete or we must cancel the race due to inclement weather, you may be eligible for a discount or credit towards the 2025 race.

Get ready for the 32nd Annual CGSC Triathlon! 

This race is a 200 yd swim, 12.4 mile bike, and a 5K run. 

Minimum age is 13 years old. 

Awards will be given for overall Male and Female winners, top relay teams (male, female, mixed), along with the top 3 men and women in each age group. 

Race Briefing and Packet Pick up: May 5 - 4PM - 6PM at the Frontier Conference Center, 350 Biddle Ave.

Registration is required and can be done at Harney Gym, Gruber Gym, or the Resiliency Center, 600 Thomas Ave. Rm 223.  Register by April 20th to guarantee your t-shirt. 

United Way of McPherson County Triathlon

This is the 17th year for the United Way of McPherson County Triathlon, held at McPherson Water Park and Lakeside Park in McPherson, Kansas.  Nicknamed by one racer as "The Fastest Short Course in Kansas," the United Way Triathlon starts with a 200-meter swim, followed by a 7-mile bike and finishing with a 2-mile run.   There is also a Junior Triathlon for youth with a 100-meter swim, 1 mile bike, and .75-mile run.

Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27th, 2024.

On July 22, 2018, TRiKC is pleased to host the 26th annual TRiKC Longview Jr. Triathlon presented by the Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation Department. This nationally recognized triathlon is held at the Longview Recreation in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The race distances for the various age groups are Tri for Tots: 25 yard kiddie pool swim/float/splash, .5 mile bike, .25 mile run; Super-Sprint: 50 yard swim, 1.5 mile bike, .5 mile run; Sprint: 100 yard pool swim, 3 mile bike, and 1 mile run; Long Course: 200 yard pool swim, 6 mile bike, and 2 mile run; and Junior: 300 yard swim, 9 mile bike, 3 mile run. This event will also features a competition for triathlon teams.

On August 25th, 2018, El Dorado Lake will again host the area's only all women's triathlon.  This all women's triathlon event will be a Sprint Distance triathlon starting in the Walnut River Beach area.  The 400 meter swim will follow a triangular course in the protected waters of Walnut River beach.  The 9.5 mile bike course will follow a circular route throughout the lake and outskirts of El Dorado.  The 3 mile run course will be throughout the lake property and along a paved bike trail.  Aid stations will be found at every mile along the run course.

A Healthy Life Experience

Get ready for your child to have a great day in the 3rd annual, Optimist Sponsored, Ottawa Iron Kid Triathlon for triathletes ages 3 to 17!  We will have 5 different distances, depending on your child's age, in a safe and organized event that will match your child's experience and ability to a course that will ensure everyone safely crosses the finish line and has a great time.

Get Out and "Tri"

If we always do what we have always done, we will always get what we have always got.  Let’s encourage our youth to get out and try something new.  They are always moving around anyway, why not focus that energy in a positive way?

Have Fun

All participants  receive a medal for completing the race. Trophies are awarded to boys and girls  for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each age group. Entry fee includes race T-shirt and pre/post-race goodies.

Midwest Youth Triathlon Series

Be part of the Midwest Youth Triathlon Series in which youth triathletes  compete head-to-head for a chance to be crowned the Midwest Youth Triathlon Champion! Youth triathletes will participate in the JCC Youth Triathlon, the TRiKC Longview Jr Triathlon, the Midwest Iron Kid Triathlon, and the grand final JCPRD U Kids Triathlon. Both male and female competitors will earn points in their respective age groups of 7 and under, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. LOCATION: Waterfront, 13th and Webb Rd., Wichita, KS

The Waterfront Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Race. The event will be held at Waterfront Business Park. The swim will take place at the Waterfront. The bike portion will be 3 relatively flat loops around the East side of Wichita. The run course will then take place on the Waterfront property. The bike and run course will be closed to traffic. Plenty of parking will be available throughout the Waterfront.
